The Public Safety and Recreation Law training program is a compulsory training module of the Certificate III Sport and Recreation qualification (SRC30106) and the Certificate III in Community Recreation qualification (SRC30206).
This Training Program covers several aspects of Occupational Health and Safety in a Sport and Recreation organisation.
Employees will develop skills in applying general occupational health and safety requirements; identify and apply laws which are relevant to the sport and recreation industry with application in the workplace; develop the knowledge and skills to identify problems in relation to safe usage of a facility; and develop basic knowledge and skills to apply a risk management process in accordance with their organisation's risk management policies and procedures.
