A traineeship is a full-time or part-time employment based training arrangement. During the course of a traineeship, a trainee gains work experience and has the opportunity to learn new skills in a hands-on environment. On successful completion, the trainee earns a nationally recognised qualification. A traineeship is a valuable first step to a rewarding career.
A New Worker's Traineeship is available to new employees who need to be signed up within three months of employment. The trainee will complete a Certificate II or III in Sport and Recreation or Community Recreation. A new trainee will need to meet the following criteria:
