Essential First Aid

Aim

The Essential First Aid training course will develop basic first aid knowledge and skills that may be required in an emergency situation.

Description

The Essential First Aid course is a one-day training program covering basic first aid skills, including resuscitation. The course is recognised by the Child Care Board of Western Australia and meets the Level 1 - Basic First Aid standard as determined by WorkSafe (Western Australia).

The RLSSA Essential First Aid certificate that is valid for three (3) years.

Course Information

• Pre-requisite: Nil.
• Minimum Age Requirements: Nil.
• Course Duration: 8.5 hours.
• Certification: On successfully completing the Essential First Aid training course, candidates will receive the following awards:
  • RLSSA Essential First Aid certificate,
  • RLSSA Resuscitation certificate,
  • Statement of Attainment that includes the following unit of competence from the National Health Training Package:
    • HLTFA201A - Provide basic emergency life support.


• Course Fee: $100.00 (GST Free)
• Fee Includes: Professional instruction, all course materials and certification.
