Aim

First Aid Saves Lives - Everbody can be a Lifesaver.

The Senior First Aid training course will provide you with the knowledge and practical skills to provide first aid treatment for a wide range of emergencies until the arrival of professional medical help.

The Senior First Aid training course is conducted in Perth and other locations in Western Australia.

Description

The Senior First Aid training program teaches the essential skills required to administer first aid to a victim of illness or injury until the arrival of professional medical help.

A Senior First Aid certificate from Royal Life Saving meets the Level 2 - Workplace First Aid standard as determined by WorkSafe (Western Australia) and HLTFA301B - Apply first aid.

The RLSSA Senior First Aid certificate is valid for three (3) years.

Course Information

• Pre-requisite: Nil.
• Minimum Age Requirements: Nil.
• Course Duration: 16 hours.
• Certification: On successfully completing the Senior First Aid training course, candidates will receive the following awards:
  • RLSSA Senior First Aid certificate
  • RLSSA Resuscitation certificate
  • Statement of Attainment that includes the following unit of competence from the National Health Training Package:
    • HLTFA301B - Apply first aid.


• Course Fee: $155.00 (GST Free)
• Fee Includes: Instruction, learning resources and key ring face shield.
