The key components include:

  • Water Familiarisation
  • Water Safety
  • Early stroke development

Infant Aquatics provides an opportunity to develop your child socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically in a safe, structured, multi-sensory environment.Your child is able to creatively explore and practice skills safely, whilst developing self-confidence and self-esteem.

Infant Aquatics provides and promotes positive movement experiences which will influence your child’s outlook on physical activity for the rest of their life. This all takes place in a fun environment in which you and your child play together.

The lessons are child centred, allowing your child to develop at their own time and pace. Based on early childhood principles of growth and development, the environment is non-competitive and is designed to reinforce the bonding relationship between child and parent or carer.

The Infant Aquatic program will become an on-going source of information about your child’s aquatic developmental needs, as well as a contact for help and support.

    Infant Aquatics is great fun!
