About the Centre
The Rockingham Aquatic Centre is located 55km south of the CBD with a travelling time along the freeway of approximately 35 minutes. The Aquatic Centre is situated on the same road, 1km from the Rockingham Shopping Centre. The Aquatic Centre was built in 1973, heating and windbreaks were installed in 1998 to keep the water temperature between 25 to 27 degrees from October to April. The Rockingham area is one of the fastest growing areas in WA with a population of around 80,000 people. The Rockingham area hosts pristine beaches with a country style atmosphere. The Rockingham Aquatic Centre has been providing a friendly, safe, clean facility for the past 35 years. The Centre is set on 2 hectares with landscaped gardens and aesthetically pleasing environment. To enhance the learning capacity of the participants, the Rockingham Aquatic Centre is the only Centre in the region running swimming lessons two times a week for five weeks. DATE Series 2: 17/11/07 to 20/12/07, Series 3: 5/01/08 to 7/02/08 Series 4: 16/02/08 to 20/3/08 COST $75.00 for 10 x 30 minutes lessons (Includes entry for 1 adult and 1 child). All money to be paid in full by the 2nd lesson of the each series. CLASS SIZE 3 years and over - Up to level 3 - Maximum of 6 participants. Over level 3 - Maximum of 8 participants. PAYMENT Payment can only be made at the Rockingham Aquatic Centre by way of Cash, Eftpos, Cheque, Mastercard and Visa. The Aquatic Centre staff will issue you with a receipt for your lessons. Swim School Policy: No telephone bookings will be taken. Refunds will only issued on presentation of medical certificates. No refunds for missed lessons. Make up lessons will not be available. A $10.00 surcharge will be applied on all refunds. The program has been running for the past two years and has had great success in faction and inter-school carnivals. COST $65.00 for 10 x 60 minutes sessions over 5 weeks $35.00 for 5 x 60 minutes sessions over 5 weeks $ 8.00 for Casual training session Includes entry for 1 adult and 1 child. WATER Pristine water quality with all pools heated to a temperature of 25ēc to 27ēc. POOL SPACE 8 lane 50 metre pool and 6 lane 25 metre pool, with attached toddler pool.
