About the Centre
The Belmont Oasis Leisure Centre was established in 1971, providing new recreation opportunities for the residents of the City of Belmont. The Centre has recently undergone an extensive $2m refurbishment to enhance the quality of services and programs offered by the Centre.
Belmont Oasis runs a number of structured programs in order to provide the services desired by local residents and the wider community.
Services and Facilities
The Belmont Oasis Leisure Centre operates a RLSS Endorsed Swim School. The programs offered by the Swim School include:
- Aqua Babies (6 months - 3 years)
- Pre-School (3 years - 5 years)
- School Age (6 years - 15 years)
- Adult Lessons
- Private Lessons
- Special Needs
In addition, the Swim School offers a Junior Lifeguard Club program for participants wanting to continue swimming without the pressures of competition.
For participants wanting to improve endurance and speed, the Belmont Bluefins squad program offers an opportunity to compete in local and state level competitions.
