Don't Drink and Down Kit
The Don't Drink and Drown package gives your club or event the opportunity to become involved in the latest initiative to address the issue of alcohol and water safety.
By becoming involved in the Don't Drink and Drown project you will be helping prevent alcohol related harm in and around aquatic environments and keeping your club and events safe.
The Don't Drink and Drown package will provide all the necessary training, information and resources to successfully incorporate the Don't Drink and Drown strategy into your organisation, club or event and promote the safe consumption of alcohol around aquatic environments.
The Don't Drink and Drown strategy adds an important element to your risk management strategy and the overall safety of activities, the package covers four key areas:
- Policy
- Professional Development
- Education and Awareness
- Environmental Analysis
As part of the program, your club or event will receive:
- An interactive CD containing all the contents of the package, including easy to use policy templates, information and copies of resources
- Information regarding Healthy Clubs Policy funding
- The opportunity for bar staff to undertake Responsible Service of Alcohol Training
- Resources and access to additional interactive tent and activities
- Assistance with media and event ideas
- Assistance to develop alcohol policy and apply for funding
How can your club or event become involved?
IT'S EASY! All you need to do is complete the registration form and send it to the Royal Life Saving Society. We will then arrange to meet with you and organise your package to be delivered.
